Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Auburn, NY

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and skilled Senior Accountant

with Cost Accounting Experience. The Senior Accountant will apply principles of accounting to

assist in preparation of balance sheet, income and cash flow statements while also contributing

to month end close process and other ad hoc projects as needed. This position requires a

hands-on approach and a willingness to work closely with the team to solve complex problems.

Qualified candidates will have manufacturing and inventory experience, and be highly

organized, being an integral part of our growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

 Month End Close process including - Multiple Bank reconciliations, General Ledger

reconciliations, Tracking of Prepaid Expenses, as well as Fixed Assets / Depreciation.

 Prepare and enter journal entries and maintain supporting documentation related to

various expense accounts, assets, accruals, inter-company activity, and equity

transactions.

 Review, investigate, and correct errors/inconsistencies in accounting entries, and

reports to ensure proper accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Corporate Policy.

 Revenue and Expense Analysis.

 A/P & A/R processing including account collections.

 Assistance in cash flow management.

 Preparation and analysis of Month/Quarter/Annual Financial Statements.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting.

 At least 3 years of related work experience in accounting.

 Computer skills including Excel (Advanced User), Word, Outlook, and Power Point.

 Experience using ERP systems.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to tackling challenges.

 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
