The Fountainhead Group is looking for an organized General Material Handler - Shipping to join our FGI Family and support our growing Shipping Department. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the General Material Handler plays an essential role in our Shipping and Warehousing processes, tracking product shipments and ensuring customer order fulfillment. This position is located at our warehouse located on Kenneth Dodge Drive in Frankfort, NY.

Full time position with working hours, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Wage: $17.25 per hour

What Youll Do:

The below describes a typical day as a member of our fast-paced, collaborative Shipping Department, but additional responsibilities may be required by the Shipping Manager.

• Transport materials, from raw materials to finished goods, to appropriate locations throughout our Distribution Center to support Warehousing and Shipping departments
• Track and report all product supply inventory on hand-held scanning devices to facilitate order fulfillment for the Shipping Department, including product movement and storage
• Manage the organization and staging of various transfer and shipping orders as necessary

Who You Are:

• 2 Years of Warehousing and Forklift Operation experience required
• You are at least 18 years of age
• You possess the physical stamina to stand throughout a shift, maneuver various products, and lift 30 pounds of material
• You are a skilled written and verbal communicator in English
• You can understand digital processes and equipment, including Warehouse tablets and scanners
• You are a team player who likes to work collaboratively
