Drafter

We are hiring a drafter to work with the Lowell-based waferfabrication facility. On-the-jobtraining will be provided to the right individual. This position is on-site at MACOM’s Lowell,MA campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with electronic design engineers to generate finaltape-out data for semiconductor mask fabrication
• Perform mask release documentation and design rule checking
• Interface with vendors to order semiconductor photo masks
• Facilitate mask design updates and rework
• Generate engineering drawings for printed circuit boarddesigns and assembly prints
• Maintain product documentation and engineering change orders

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years minimum experience with HS diploma, or 3 years withassociate degree or other technical training
• Prior experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Altium,Keysight ADS, Solidworks, DW2000, or Virtuoso
• Knowledgeable in drafting standards and best practices
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits
• Prior experience with semiconductor mask design is stronglydesired
• Detail oriented and quality focused
