Mad Hatters in St. Pete is looking for one rockstar bartender to join our amazing team! Our ideal candidate has bartending/kava tending experience. Mad Hatters Kava Bar is a 24 hour establishment so working late nights is a must for this position. The position is 4:00am-12:00pm and the bartender does not split tips as you are working alone.
Mad Hatters Kava Bar is primarily a kratom and kava bar with a menu full of other options such as smoothies, hot herbal teas, and soft drinks. IMPORTANT: WE ARE A SOBER COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT. THERE IS NO ALCOHOL ON PREMISES. We do not tolerate any of this while anyone is on property. This is a great place for people in recovery or others who are out of the alcohol and drug scene. We strive to keep the environment safe and healthy for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Prepare non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets 21 requirements.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Regular heavy cleaning
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate'
- Must be able to lift a 5gal bucket
