Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for a long-term role with a metal manufacturing company located in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving and refining the current quality control department. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh perspectives and valuable input to enhance processes and ensure the highest standards of quality.

Pay: $26-$30/hr

Quality Control Specialist Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for metal ductwork and equipment manufacturing.

• Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Identify and analyze quality issues, and work collaboratively with the production team to implement corrective actions.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements and contribute to the development of quality control best practices.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.

• Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and standards.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality control.

Quality Control Specialist Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quality control, in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Relevant certifications in quality control are a plus.
