Madden Industrial Craftsmen has teamed up with a heavy-hauling vehicle trainer manufacturer to find a qualified, experienced welder/fabricator. This candidate will weld, fit and fabricate log truck equipment, trailers and/or parts as assigned.

Shift: M-F, 7AM - 3:30PM

Pay: $30/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate shop equipment such as Band Saw, drill press, Ironworker, etc.

• Cut to size various materials.

• Read and execute from detailed blueprints, drawings and/or work orders.

• Accurately fabricate and assemble log truck equipment, trailers and/or parts to high company standards and time frames.

• MIG and TIG welding using mild steel, stainless steel, with a high degree of quality and minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of fabrication, assembly and welding experience preferred. Forklift and overhead crane operations experience a plus.

• Must have proper tools to accomplish the job.

• Must have analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work quickly and articulate/escalate issues, as needed.

• Ability to excel in a fast paced, deadline orientated environment.

• Requires bending or twisting, standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling..

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
