Job DescriptionAn Operations and Logistics Specialist at Madesmart Housewares will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations. This full-time position, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, requires a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with proven experience in operations and logistics management. The specialist will be responsible for streamlining operations, improving processes, coordinating with different departments, managing inventory levels, and overseeing logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, proficient in operations software (preferably NetSuite), and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. We are looking for someone with experience in dealing with customer portals, commercial invoices, packing lists, SLI and clearance documentation. Streamline Operations: Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
Improve Processes: Identify and implement improvements to operational processes and procedures.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring we have the right products at the right time. This is a collaborative effort.
Logistics: Manage logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping, freight, and delivery of products.
Methodical Approach: In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be organized and have a methodical approach to your priorities throughout the day, week, month, etc. A calendar will be your friend!
