The Restaurant Manager at the Wharf restaurant at Madison Beach Hotel is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring luxury customer service, with a focus on managing and training staff, and maintaining the overall profitability of the restaurant.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Compensation & Benefits :

• Salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year, paid biweekly

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of the restaurant operations, including front-of-house, and bar
• Develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests
• Train and manage restaurant staff, including hiring, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations
• Monitor and manage food and beverage inventory, ordering supplies as needed and controlling costs
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase profitability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience for guests
• Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a restaurant management role
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Proven track record of effectively managing staff and maintaining a positive work environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• ServSafe certification preferred
