Madison Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Madison, MS

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records

Skills:

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in dental software
- Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to handle medical documentation and records systems

- Knowledge of insurance benefits is a plus

Established Madison, MS periodontal dental office seeks someone with a great personality and who loves working with patients. We are looking for a hard-working, dynamic dental assistant. The right candidate must be able to give our patients the care and attention that they need, be an energetic team player, have leadership qualities, be able to communicate effectively and multi-task! Must be personable, organized, punctual and committed to the practice. You'd be working with a fabulous team in a great working environment!
Requirements: 1 years of experience in dental assisting, current radiology permit, current CPR certification, excellent customer service skills, dental software and insurance knowledge is a plus
