We are looking for a compassionate and talented team member who has a passion for caring for our clients. The Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) provides mental health recovery focused support, empowerment and advocacy services to help clients achieve their individualized wellness goals. The CRSS builds on client strengths and respects each client’s preferences, needs, and points of view.Essential ResponsibilitiesActively participates with an interdisciplinary team to aid clients in symptom management skills, social, educational, and life pursuits, and in increasing their independence as it relates to their self-determined goals.Attends scheduled clinical supervision.Works with clients to develop supports in the following areas; housing, transportation, budgeting, self-care, relationship building, symptom management, working with healthcare providers, etc.Advocates on behalf of clients to assure the protection of their rights and privacy.Teaches clients self-advocacy skills to promote empowerment.Provides coaching, mentoring, and consultation to clients.Models recovery principles, attitudes, and personal responsibility.Reviews charts and reports to stay informed about clients’ overall wellness.Mentors clients in recovery support principles through CRSS trainings.Escorts and engages clients in community events for recreation, recovery, etc.QualificationsCertified Recovery Support Specialist credential (CRSS) or actively working towards the CRSS credentialDo we still have your interest?
