MadTree Brewing Company is Hiring a Seasonal Merchandise Store Associate Near Cincinnati, OH

We are looking for part-time seasonal help (about 15-20 hours per week through early January 2024) in the taproom selling merchandise, packaged beer and Sway, stocking shelves, and providing general customer service to guests. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must have regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

POSITION: Seasonal Merchandise Store Associate
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH (Oakley)

REPORTS TO: Taproom Manager

PAY RANGE: $15.00/hour
POSITION SUMMARY: The Merchandise Store Representative position works within the Taproom team with responsibility for helping guests select and purchase merchandise while providing a warm and welcoming experience. They will be an avid MadTree ambassador who lives the behaviors – Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing a high level of service through your personal interactions with guests; including answering the phone, answering guest questions, managing guest requests, and guiding guests around the Taproom.
Accurately executing all sales transactions using the point-of-sale system.
Performing daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, sizing, merchandise transfers, and general housekeeping.
Working as a team player to ensure each guest receives the best service possible.
Collaborating with other Taproom team members to provide support as needed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

1 to 2 years retail sales experience in a specialty retail environment preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES:

Effective and frequent communication with manager and support staff, regardless of department or shift.
Ability to multi-task people and projects simultaneously.
Experience and ability to use computerized point-of-sale systems.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including holidays and extended hours.
Comfort with working independently, multitasking, and maintaining efficiency and productivity.
Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards, and confidence to speak up and act when safety and quality are compromised.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
