For this position we are looking for a person with the drive to improve supply chain processes as well as having the right touch dealing with suppliers and freight providers.

Frey’s mission is to improve the efficiency in which agricultural commodities move around the world, and we are looking for someone having 1-2 years of experience coordinating shipments from the US ensuring logistics and shipment schedules are executed smoothly. This individual must take responsibility and have a ‘go-getter’ attitude as well as being efficient, dedicated and detail-oriented by nature. In this role a structured approach is key.

You will become part of the global execution and logistic function, making sure that trades are executed in time and as efficiently as possible. Working out of Philadelphia and working with teams in Denmark and Singapore, we expect that you are proactive, structured and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You can maintain a composed overview, when things get hectic, and you seek to improve continuously, by keeping a learning mindset.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Supplier and export coordination in relation to the open book and planned and on-going shipments.
• Place bookings with carriers and forwarders according to the most cost-efficient and operational feasible option.
• Control and process supplier, carrier and service invoices and maintaining cost capturing and provisions on shipments making sure all accounts are up-to-date at all times.
• Support execution of all trades and developing the functional capabilities within execution.
• Drive a zero-tolerance mindset towards cost avoidance, shipment delays and manual errors.

Your skills and qualifications:

• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in a export trade execution, freight forwarding or logistics function.
• Skilled and confident in managing carrier bookings and US export documentation.
• Experience with agricultural commodities, NGFA Trade Rules and GAFTA is a plus.
• Interested by the intricacies of shipping, logistics and grains and ambitious to learn and grow in the role.
• Eager to optimize execution workflow and managing a portfolio of bookings and shipments.
• Able to work with stakeholders efficiently across borders and time zones.
