Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Job Summary:

The Customer Service Supervisor will build a strong team and shape staff behaviors to accomplish desired results. You will play a collaborative role in growing and implementing standards and processes. You will maintain documentation such as correspondence and operational records, and communicate promotional offers to customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategizing and monitoring daily activities of customer service operation
  • Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies
  • Understand, develop, implement, and train others in company processes to include but not limited to quoting implementation of accounts, and System management
  • Coordinate customer inquiries, complaints, and other requests with the Sales and Operations teams to facilitate accurate and timely responses
  • Manage a team of customer service agents and key account supervisors
  • Investigating and solving customer service complaints
  • Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities
  • Other duties as requested

Skills/Competencies:

  • Capability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Established time management and organization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Detailed-oriented and analytical
  • Ability to be outcome-oriented and focused with a strong performance culture
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks at the same time
  • High standards and clear accountability

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics is a plus (3 years working experience in lieu of degree)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in a managerial role; transportation and logistics customer service preferred
  • 3 Years Supervisor Experience
  • 3 Years of Customer Service Experience

Pay Range:

$55,000-$60,000
