Maersk is Hiring a Control Tower Senior Program Specialist Near Itasca, IL

Front Line support to assigned Key Accounts for Air Product services in Account Handling within Areas in North America to our external Customers and Internal Stakeholders as it relates to Control Tower responsibilities.
Focus on supporting Tactical Handling of Solution Design and carrying out of Regional Strategy for Air Operations and Services Excellence, through Control Tower activities to assigned Key Accounts.
Deliver a premium Customer experience to our customers and work proactively in identifying issues and mitigating them. Ensure issues raised are resolved quickly and proactively and well communicated to our internal and external customer.
Following Control Tower concept and standards, collaborate, work closely as well as provide daily support to assigned Key Accounts Program Lead.

Key responsibilities

  • Standard Adherence and Performance Monitoring:
    - follow the account air program solution design process
    - supporting customer deliverables and requires process execution per set standards and customer specific IOP
    - monitor Performance, and SLA Compliance & KPI's
  • Responsible for coordinating analytics and data mining for the account as required. Coordinate and deliver milestone compliance and performance monitoring.
  • Proactive Communication: With all Stakeholders involved in the process ensure proactive and professional communications in all matters.
  • Organizer of IOP and SOP updates according to Key Clients requirements.
  • Supporting Processes: Supporting day-to-day process and escalations. As well as handling claims support, standard SLA support, and systems testing support.
  • Customer Relationship: Continuously build strong relationships with internal and external customers; gain an understanding of their business, service needs, drivers.
  • Any Other Duties as assigned by Direct Leader as needed to meet the business needs.

Required experience and skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in related business area is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of Airfreight/Logistics process knowledge; preferred to have Air Freight Operations, Control Tower, and Program Specialist/similar/ experience of at least 1 year
  • Customer Obsession and Centricity driven

  • Strong collaboration and Internal/External Client building focus
  • Comfortable with Internal and External Customer presentation and meeting leading
  • Operations Process knowledge preferred
  • Perseverant & action oriented
  • English language well written and spoken
