Magikid Frisco Robotic Lab will be our fisrt location in Texas build together with the campany headquarter.
Magikid Robotics Lab is a well-established educational brand for mobile apps and a one-stop STEAM education center with 10 locations in California, serving 6000 students and families. We provide project-based STEM courses, host competitions, create volunteering and internship opportunities, and connect our community with the cutting edge of technology, helping young talents' dreams come true. Magikid has coached over 300 students to participate in robotics competitions in the last 3 years and won 26 California State Championships, 3 World Championships. Now we are the official REC Event Partner to host local competitions.Join our team at Magikid Robotics Lab and help shape the future of STEAM education.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Robotics Instructor to join our team. The instructor will be responsible for teaching coding, robotics, and science to students aged 5-14 years old. The instructor will also assist with marketing events and daily operations of the lab.
Responsibilities:
- Instructing children in classes using Magikid's teaching material and lesson plans.
- Providing a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Assisting with marketing events and promoting Magikid's educational programs.
- Helping with the daily operations of the lab.
Requirements:
- A love for working with kids and a passion for Technology and Education.
- Ability to teach our curriculum involving basic coding/ VEX robotics/3D printing.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required if the candidate can demonstrate the ability to teach our curriculum effectively.
- Experience in working with children, outreach, or an after-school program preferred.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in teaching STEM-related courses to children.
- Experience in coaching robotics competitions.
- Past experience working at a technology company or start-up.
