MAGNIFY is Hiring a Project Manager Near Dallas, TX

Are you seeking an opportunity with competitive pay, career advancement, incredible benefits(including employee stock ownership) and a great work culture? We are seeking to hire a Project Manager to join in the electrical contracting space.

Location: Dallas, TX (ONSITE) --> specific location you will sit at will be McKinney, TX.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

Salary: $90,000-$100,000 (potential for flexibility based on experience) annual bonus program

Start Date: ASAP

Position Type: Full time, Direct Hire/Permanent

What We Really Need -

  • 3 of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role within Electrical
  • 3 years of Electrical Project Management experience
  • Project Management experience within the Commercial space
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Accubid or Oracle preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other related discipline.

Overview of the role -

The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute project initiatives as directed by a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager.
  • Oversee and manage project tasks, delegate responsibilities to Assistant Project Managers, strategize, coordinate, address challenges, and uphold company/project protocols and standards.
  • Offer expertise in project management to initiate client engagement, evaluate project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for successful completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project estimates, scrutinizing plans, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Define project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks within corporate parameters.
  • Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.
  • Monitor construction progress alongside onsite personnel to ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
  • Address critical issues promptly within company protocols and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.
  • Facilitate the preparation and negotiation of change quotations for client presentation.
  • Generate monthly cost reports under senior supervision.
  • Manage contract finances to safeguard company interests and foster positive client relationships.
  • Review Assistant Project Managers' documentation prior to submission.
  • Represent the company in project meetings under senior guidance.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer usage, particularly Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with Accubid and Oracle is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
  • 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role(can be a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience)
  • Demonstrate professionalism in both conduct and appearance.
  • Have a thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks, adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt positively to changing requirements.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including management, staff, vendors, clients, and others.
