Description:
We're looking for caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as PCAs/CNAs. In this role, you'll provide essential care and support to an 88-year-old female who requires 24/7 bed care at home, helping to improve her quality of life and maintaining her independence. The client is located in the 22580 area of Caroline.
Responsibilities:

• Perform bed baths with sensitivity and respect
• Assist with dressing and personal grooming
• Provide incontinence care with compassion and discretion
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary
• Medication reminders to ensure adherence to treatment plans
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
• Change linens regularly to promote hygiene and comfort
• Minimum care for the clients elderly dog
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interactions with the individual.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aid (PCA)
• Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable with pets and a smoking environment
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor toward clients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Must have a clean criminal background check and drug screening

Requirements:

• PCA/CNA certificate
• Virginia driver's license ( in good standing)
• Current Auto Insurance (Virginias minimum requirement)
• Two forms of identification
• CPR or BLS certification and First Aid training
• TB test results

• $15.50 - $17/per hour

Schedule:
Monday - Sunday

• 8 am - 8 pm
• 8 pm - 8 am

Hiring Timeline:

• Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Interviews will be scheduled for qualified candidates every Tuesday and Thursday, 11 am - 4 pm.
• The selected candidate is expected to start work on June 19, 2024.
