Title: CAD Designer Telecom
Location: Seattle, WA (Remote to start then on-site)
Will need to travel: Western Washington, Alaska & Oregon
Employment type: This is contract to hire after 6 months.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Design Technician to join their growing team! This position offers a unique blend of field work, design, and AutoCAD experience, with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our projects throughout Washington State.
About The Role

• Conduct site visits (40%) to gather data, take measurements, and determine land use (commercial, residential, farmland, etc.)
• Utilize AutoCAD to design and draft construction plans based on field measurements (60%)
• Assist with minor design tasks as needed.
• Travel throughout Washington State (20%) - with weekends off, even when traveling in Alaska.

You Are a Perfect Fit If You

• Possess 2-5 years of experience in a related field, such as architectural engineering or surveying. We welcome entry level candidates with relevant internships.
• Have a strong understanding of construction principles and design concepts.
• Are proficient in AutoCAD software.
• Enjoy a blend of fieldwork and office design work.
• Thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

A Plus If You

• Have experience with NSB (New Site Build).
• While telecom experience is preferred, a strong surveying background can be considered.
