The manager position includes the following responsibilities /roles (list is not intended to be allĀ inclusive):
scheduling /proper staffing for every shift, over sight of service training,
smooth operation and execution of all service and kitchen standards on a shift by shift basis. Proper handling of cash, and daily paperwork, upkeep training manuals and service checklists, over sight of safety sanitation and food handling practices and procedures
restaurant cleanliness
involvement in hiring,
involvement in evals, goal setting, staff feedback & communications
actively leading and "team building" in FOH/BOH relations
