About the Position

Salvi & Maher, LLP is seeking a paralegal based in Lake County, Illinois, who will support our attorneys in the firm's suburban practice.

Essential Functions

• Work alongside and assist attorneys with pre-litigation and litigation workflow.

• Conduct research to support legal proceedings.

• Manage schedules of attorneys and staff.

• Record and maintain a record of client information.

• Draft, review, and manage legal documents.

• Communicate with clients to gather and provide information.

Qualifications & Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a passion for the law and a goal to become an experienced paralegal with the eventual aim of managing the firm’s pool of paralegals. 

• Associate's degree and/or paralegal certification are preferred but not required. 

• Additional qualifications include excellent analytical and organizational abilities, apt communication skills, and the capacity for creative problem-solving.
