Summary

Lead the Regional Aftermarket Thermal Solutions team to become the leading product line in Aftermarket.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Overall Regional responsibility for the product group with regards to product lifecycle management (phase in, development and performance of current products and phase out), planning and procurement.
• Product cost responsibility, product and price positioning, etc.
• Responsibility for the economic result fo the product group (Profit & Loss responsibility).
• In cooperation with strategic purchasing and quality management, extended responsibility for supplier selection, definition and compliance with quality standards of the product group.
• Responsibility for the planning and disposition of SKU's or components of a product group in close cooperation with the regional sales departments.
• Development and implementation of a regional product group strategy in coordination with the global product strategy and the entire BU6 strategy.
• Determination of the future structure of the product portfolio- coverage and expansion strategies, etc.
• Ensuring target achievement in the MPTN area based on the defined KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in an Engineering or related field. MBA preferred.
• 10 years experience in the International Automotive / Aftermarket environment.
• 5 years experience in leadership and the development of employees.
• Extensive knowledge in the area of product management and procurement & planning, as well as knowledge in sales and purchasing are desirable.
• Extensive experience in the field of project and process management.
• Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking skills.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical and communication skills.
• Solid IT knowledge of AP MM and MS Office products as well as knowledge of IT-based data analyzers (BI tools).
• Strong verbal & written English, foreign language skills a plus.
