Job DescriptionThis is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an established (30 years) company with incredible growth potential. We are seeking the right candidate to fulfil the role of a Contract Administrator. You would be working with Project Managers, Accounting, and directly with the Upper Management to manage contracts and compliance at both the project and at company level.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare contracts to Owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Support procurement team from contract inception to project final closeout.
  • Assist with compiling marketing materials and RFP responses.
  • Report on areas of non-compliance and correspond with contractors to resolve invoice issues.
  • Assist with Minority Business Enterprise Certification compliance.
  • Assist with auto insurance, vehicular maintenance for insurance purposes, EZ pass registration, and maintenance.
  • Preparation of memos for internal and/or external use documenting review issues and comments.
  • Assist in the development of audit work plans and schedules that support the project work processes and milestones.
  • Support procurement construction projects from pre-solicitation through competitive solicitations and contract award.
  • Support solicitations, evaluate responses, negotiations, contracts and contract awards for services in the areas of industrial construction, equipment, and facility renovations.
  • Interface with all levels of senior management and third parties for review and implementation of any co-funding arrangements, if applicable.
  • Prepare contract change notices, monitor and manage contractor performance.
  • Maintain procurement project files including details of each stage for each procurement project and contract. Ensure contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, insurance, safety and OSHA regulations, owner specifications, government regulations, and is performing to the Statement of Work.
  • Work closely with the product program manager, facilities director, and functional groups to ensure all facility requirements are met.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction contract management, CEI project administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract law, construction best practices, and construction documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software including Procore and Building Connected.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of schooling and experience.
  • Time driven, multitask and good communication
