Estimator
Location: Ramsey, NJ
Salary Range: Competitive
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for landscaping projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of landscaping materials, construction methods, and market pricing.
Key Responsibilities
- *Cost Estimation*: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for landscaping projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
- *Project Analysis*: Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive cost assessments.
- *Bid Preparation*: Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals to clients, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
- *Vendor Relations*: Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms.
- *Budget Management*: Work closely with project managers to monitor and control project budgets, providing regular updates and adjustments as needed.
- *Documentation*: Maintain thorough and organized records of all estimates, bids, and project-related financial information.
- *Collaboration*: Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
- *Market Research*: Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products or services that could impact project costs.
Qualifications
- *Experience*: Minimum of [5] years of experience in cost estimating within the landscaping or construction industry.
