Main Sail is Hiring a QA/Test Engineer Near Durango, CO
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct integration, regression, and system-level testing, ensuring seamless operation with cloud services and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to identify, report, and resolve defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform security testing, including static and dynamic analysis, to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in software testing. Automated testing experience required.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, data encryption, and familiarity with cybersecurity testing standards (e.g., OWASP).
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, xUnit, PyTest, or similar tools a PLUS
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integration testing within DevOps pipelines, in Azure DevOps a PLUS
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for test automation a PLUS.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
