Maine Community College System is Hiring a CMCC - Conservation Law Enforcement Faculty Near Auburn, ME

Title: Conservation Law Enforcement Faculty
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit. Pay range is low 50s, based on credentials.
Responsibilities: This full-time, in-person faculty position begins teaching responsibilities in the Public Service and Social Sciences Department with the Fall 2024 semester and could teach a combination of day, evening and online classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 15 credit hours per semester in criminal justice and conservation law enforcement to support the college’s Criminal Justice, Conservation Law Enforcement, Forensic Science, and Advanced Certificate in Police Operations programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, curriculum and academic advising.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field
  • Previous employment in the conservation law enforcement field
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
  • Experience with program development
  • Previous experience teaching criminal justice and/or conservation law enforcement courses at the college level
  • Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
