We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to oversee the revenue generation efforts of Maine Course Hospitality Groups Four Points by Sheraton Greensboro Airport, NC! The Director of Sales is responsible for the Sales and Marketing of the hotel, including soliciting of new accounts, nurturing and growing existing client relationships/business.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering results. 70% of your time will be spent on proactive outside sales generation.

Some of the Director of Sales Responsibilities include:

 - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals

- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners 

- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Work closely with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies 

- Analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports and forecasts

- Ensure compliance with brand standards and hotel policies

Requirements

  • Must be available to work a minimum average of 45 hours per week
  • Ability to find new leads using internet search methods
  • Responsible for networking within the community therefore some evenings and weekends will be required.
  • Meeting clients or groups might come outside the normal workday and be in addition to the schedule
  • Ability to understand and use the sales process for Prospecting, Opening, Advancing, Qualifying, Gaining Commitment and closing the sale
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate effectively with guests and employees
  • Ability to analyze statistical data and make judgments accordingly
  • Education/Experience: Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Hotel or related sales experience preferred.
