Position Summary
The Operations Analyst will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and improving the operational processes within the company. The ideal candidate will collect and interpret data to help drive decisions, improve efficiency, and support the daily operations of the business. This role is critical to ensuring smooth and efficient operations by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic solutions. The operations analyst will help with different areas in the department as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains and/or develops spreadsheets for production, cylinder maintenance, fuel tax and mileage reporting.
- Data entry into route efficiency reports and production records into excel.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with different teams (logistics, production, customer service) to understand their needs and develop strategies to support them.
- Schedules vehicle maintenance and assists with vehicle registrations. Tracks maintenance expenses by vehicle.
- Logs and reports on customer complaint calls received.
- sure that operational systems and tools are updated regularly, performing audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate the design and implementation of internal processes and systems as assigned; providing ideas on what may be needed to streamline activities.
- Ensure all operational procedures comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Filing, copying and other office tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel (formulas including if statements, vlookup, etc.), and PowerPoint
- 1-2 years in an operational or data analysis role (internship experience is acceptable).
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to analyze data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Efficient, organized and resourceful
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
