Position Summary

The Production Supervisor will help oversee all day operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Class A drivers and internal route distribution to and from stores
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the fill plant
• Oversee Micro-Bulk Argon and Nitrogen trailers at your location
• Oversee Acetylene distribution between Linde Newark and MOX internal network
• Manager cylinder and liquid pack inventory for fill plant
• Ensure MOX personnel are abiding by FDA, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory body guidelines
• Ensure MOX personnel are following safety guidelines and SOPs set by local, state, and federal organizations
• Help develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
• Help with trailer reconciliation and daily driver boards
• Track Customer Owned cylinders
• Work to create a great and productive culture for Naugatuck fill plan
• Help with training, disciplinary actions, and annual reviews
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Management Experience of at least 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Safety must be the first priority.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
• Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures and other company and industry documents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to see, speak, and hear.
• Frequent sitting and standing, walking, bending, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; may stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to perform very heavy work—regularly lift 25lbs to 75lbs, and occasionally lift greater than 76lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
