MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Special Educaton Teacher to join the instructional staff at The Learning Center Frank Jewett School the Evolve Program in Buxton, Maine, for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will provide direct instruction to the students in the class according to their IEP and will observe, monitor, and provide regular progress reports in accordance to the IEP.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification with a #282 endorsement; experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
This position will be filled when a successful candidate has been found. Salaries and benefits may be found on the District website in the Agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association.
