Be ready to bring a value to primary care that has become the desired for providers and patients. Integrating behavioral health services in a medical setting enhances the overall care of patients. In addition to the clinical treatment, the clinician helps connect patients with additional resource, provides consultations and training to providers, and has the opportunity to participate in population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people.

The work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work, in addition to collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system. Individual supervision, psychiatry consultation, group supervision, and quarterly trainings are added benefits of this position.
