Summary
- Position Summary
- The Lead Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams and procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Also promotes patient safety, verifies identification prior to exam, verifies patient physician(s), and assists Radiologists in sterile procedures. Performs lead responsibilities, including training team members, monitoring performance, and coordinating daily operations.

- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration in Mammography required. Current BLS certification required.
- Experience: 3 years of experience within Mammography departmental operations required, including clinical and leadership experience.
