Summary
The Behavioral Health Integration program is seeking a Medical Consultant who will provide two hours per week of medical leadership and guidance to the Program Senior Director and Director to further enhance and strengthen the alignment with primary and specialty care practices in the MaineHealth system.
The ideal candidate will be an MD, DO, NP, or PA currently working in a medical practice within the system. Prior experience working with the integrated program and the ability to build successful partnerships. Functions include but may not be limited to: engaging in program development activities, participating in initiatives to enhance delivery of integrated behavioral health care within the medical setting, connecting with national leaders in integration to learn best practices and continue advancing integrated efforts within our healthcare system, promoting high quality and safe care, and advocating for best practices to both medical and behavioral health leadership, and attend site visits across the system as able.
