Physician – Primary Care – Medical Director

Mid Coast Medical Group Primary Care, a department of Mid Coast Hospital, is currently seeking a family medicine or internal medicine physician to serve as Medical Director of Primary Care. The Medical Director will work closely with the VP Physician & App Services and Practice Operations Leadership to oversee the clinical and operational success of our primary care practices. In addition, the Medical Director will help develop and implement primary care-related strategic initiatives and practice clinically as a Primary Care physician. This is a full-time position with ratio of 28 clinical hours to 12 administrative hours. Call consists of outpatient only, and is divided equally among the 10 providers in the group. 

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school. 
• Board Certified/Board Eligible. 
• Preferred 3 years of leadership experience, though not required.
