• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full-time Paramedic position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth member employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
• Position Summary
  • The Paramedic provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols
• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • License/Certifications: Maine Paramedic License. Valid Maine Driver's License. RQI BLS & ACLS Certification within first 30 days of employment. AVOC/EVOC, ICS100, ICS200 & ICS700, PIFT Certification required within 6 months of employment
  • Experience: N/A
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Annual Skills Assessment
  • Annual Respiratory Fit Testing
