Summary
This is a highly skilled professional patient care position responsible, within the parameters defined by regulation of the State of Maine, The Maine Medical Center and the Department for the assessment and management of patients. In addition, the Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner is continuously involved in the clinical teaching of Maine Medical Center House Officers and medical students during their respective rotations. The Physician Assistant/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the undertaking and completion of assigned departmental administrative tasks such as preparation of x-ray rounds. This position is Part Time - 28 hours.
