Summary

This position requires every 3^rd weekend

Mid Coast Medical Group Walk in Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time (34 hours per week) Registered Nurse. In this position you will be working in a clinical position. Your day to day will include typical nursing responsibilities such as independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. 1. Education: Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
   2. License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure. Current BLS required.
   3. Experience: One year of nursing experience preferred.
   4. Knowledge of nursing processes; health care systems, structure and functions; and community resources.
   5. Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information.
   6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.
   7. Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking, prioritizing and medical care coordination.
   8. Ability to read and interpret physician’s orders and notes from other providers.
   9. Ability to calculate and administer drug dosages and injections and measure results.
   10. Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis.
   11. Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations.
