Mains’l Services is hiring an experienced DSP to provide 1:1 hospice support to a male resident in one of our group homes.The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with aspirations, modifying diets to a dysphagia, thickened diet. Supports provided will include transfers via 2-person Hoyer lift, personal cares, meal prep, and activity assistance.Mains’l offers insurance benefits (30 hours a week), a fun work environment, and varying schedules. - Collaborating with the person you work with and your co-workers to problem solve and create a positive and inclusive culture.
- Clear and accurate documentation
- Providing assistance or support with activities of daily living in the person’s home and their community based on the needs and preferences of the person you work with.
- This may include transportation, personal cares, cooking, cleaning, medication administration, support of positive behavior and working through difficult situations in ways that lead to positive outcomes.
- Supporting others to realize their hopes and dreams.
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid MN Drivers’ license
- Reliable transportation with valid insurance coverage
- Ability to pass a background check through DHS
- Medical/CNA Experience Preferred
- Hospice Experience Preferred
