About the Role:
As a Permit Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained efficiently and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will be responsible for coordinating the permitting process, liaising with regulatory agencies, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders to guarantee smooth and timely project execution..

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the coordination of engineering projects by scheduling meetings, arranging appointments, and managing calendars.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including reports, presentations, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, including project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Research, identify, and acquire all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals required for the
  • deployment of fiber optic infrastructure in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and track the progress of permit applications, address any issues or concerns, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain an organized database of permits, licenses, and relevant documentation for easy retrieval.
  • Generate regular reports summarizing the status of permit applications, approvals, and any Compliance related matters.
  • Assist in organizing and documenting meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of engineering proposals, bids, and contracts.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry, to support the efficient operation of the engineering department.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent education, required.
  • Proven experience in permit coordination or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to permits and licenses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for permit tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing regulations.
