Major Food Group is hiring a Senior Manager, Digital and Website Marketing to join our corporate team!
Major Food Group is a New York based hospitality company founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. From a small, intimate deli restaurant in Little Italy, MFG has evolved into a hospitality powerhouse creating iconic restaurants and gaining national and international attention for its unique style and culinary prowess.
The role of the Senior Manager, Digital and Website Marketing is to drive the strategy across the digital ecosystem, across all Major Food group websites (currently eight), database and digital marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives. This role will work cross functionally with other departments, and will be supported by a CRM Marketing Manager. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
  • Develop digital strategy for MFG and all branded sites, by setting best practices, overseeing lead generation programs, database management and audience segmentation communication
  • Set digital KPIs, holistically, and across digital (CRM, SEM, SEO and retargeting) campaigns, to ensure objectives are met.
  • Work closely with website and digital marketing agencies to ensure objectives and strategies are clearly communicated and aligned.
  • Track and measure performance of all digital marketing channels and propose optimization initiatives to maximize marketing ROI
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital trends and continued advancements in digital technologies and marketing best practices.
  • Consistently strive to discover and adopt emerging technologies, digital innovations, new platforms and systems to optimize organizational effectiveness.
  • Crossfunctionally engage with regional / local teams to digitally support marketing strategies.
  • Own and report on Google Analytics platforms, across all websites (GA4), Tag Manager (GTM). Search, (GSC) along with future digital evolution.
  • Build MFG’s digital marketing roadmap for future development.
  • Report on website, email and social campaign performance, incorporating external actions into reports
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction; holiday (seasonal), newsletter, customer lifecycle
  • Support activations and marketing initiatives, ensuring the digital component is accounted for - including custom branding, landing pages, pop-ups, etc
  • Oversee website user experience (UX), evolving it to adapt to the guest experience.
  • Continually examine website performance, offering recommendations based on guest usage, integrating KPIs with crm
  • Leverage SEO across all brands, continually improving and maximizing branded SERP
Requirements
  • Minimum of eight years experience in digital marketing, CRM and website management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in developing and managing a team
  • Experience working with digital agencies
  • In-depth knowledge of experience using CRM platforms and email marketing tools
  • Experience interpreting analytics reports and producing actionable insights
  • Proven results in effective campaign management and implementation leading to achieving set target objectives
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work within multiple CMS and back end systems
