With a focus on freeing up the principal's time to focus on strategic, forward-looking matters and operations, we are seeking a superstar and highly skilled Chief of Staff to lead our team and drive our mission forward.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Principal, the Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the family office and in presenting and discussing strategic alternatives with the Principal. This role will oversee a diverse team, including the Director of Residences, an Executive Personal Assistant (EPA), two Personal Assistants (PAs), a Scheduling Assistant, Research Analyst, and liaise with outside law, accounting, construction, and other firms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, experience in high-level executive support, and a passion for optimizing lifestyle, investments, and philanthropic endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Principal, managing all communications, scheduling, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the Director of Residences to ensure seamless management of multiple properties and associated staff.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the EPA, PA, and Scheduling Assistant to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in supporting the Principal's daily activities.
  • Direct the Research Analyst in conducting in-depth research on investments, philanthropic opportunities, and lifestyle enhancements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with outside law and accounting firms to manage legal, financial, and compliance matters on behalf of the family office.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, increase productivity, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the family office.
  • Drive initiatives related to lifestyle management, investments, and philanthropy, aligning with the Principal's values and objectives.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and interactions.

Qualifications:

  • MBA, JD, or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within a family office or high-net-worth environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and drive results.
  • Knowledge of investments, financial management, and philanthropy, with a keen understanding of industry best practices.
  • Discretion, integrity, and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and other relevant tools.
  • Fully bilingual, English / Spanish is a plus.
