Job Description
Making Strides is currently seeking licensed Speech Language Pathologists to join our team!
*Flexible schedule and great collaboration with other disciplines!*
Therapists can choose to work with our clients in our center-based location in Long Island City, Queens OR provide services in home/school based locations in all 5 Boroughs.
***Our center based location has a full sensory gym along with individual office space available***
Requirements:
-Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
-Must have a valid New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist
-Must have Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
In this role therapists will:
-Conduct therapy sessions that are appropriate to the student’s developmental level.
-Develop and implement appropriate strategies for intervention as per student’s IEP
-Complete and maintain all required paperwork in a timely manner.
-Evaluate student’s needs through a variety of standardized and non-standardized measures for speech and language.
