Job Details
Position: SAP Project Manager
Duration: 3-6 Months (with potential extensions)
Location: Remote with possible on-site visits for milestones in Buffalo, NY. Travel expenses will be covered.
Project Details:
Key Focus: The company is migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and the SAP PM will oversee the project, which involves moving 65 applications to SAP S/4HANA.
Additional Insights: They are also migrating middleware from Tibco to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
Experience Requirements:
SAP Knowledge: Must have experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
Salesforce Experience: Familiarity with Salesforce is required.
Leadership: Responsible for managing multiple teams, ensuring tasks are completed, and that teams remain on track.
Technical Aptitude: Needs to be somewhat technical to understand the details of the migration.
Communication Skills: Strong communication is essential, as the role involves coordination across teams and meetings.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Create and maintain project plans, ensuring they are executed effectively.
Issue Resolution: Actively block and track issues or tasks that may delay the project.
Team Collaboration: Manage multiple teams, ensure collaboration, and track progress.
Meetings: Participate in and lead multiple meetings, as the company is highly collaborative.
This role requires a PM with strong SAP experience, leadership skills to manage multiple teams, and technical understanding of both SAP and middleware migration projects.
