Since 1994 Malark Companies has been providing true third-party logistics (3PL), specializing in on-time and on-budget domestic and international freight logistics, serving regulated and independent power producers, heavy manufacturing, light assembly, packaging, and distribution enterprises. We handle all domestic and international supply chain functions, from managing and moving freight, inventory, warehousing, claims processing and reporting, to packing, crating, blanket wrapping, vendor compliance, small package shipping, tracking, and more.
Summary
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for handling the foundational level operations and day to day processes for Malark accounts. The primary job function is to procure cost effective transportation that meets our customers service needs, while completing any additional customer-specific standard operating procedures. In addition, this role handles orders, provides solutions, and communicates the status of their deliveries. A Logistics Specialist at Malark must also work with a high degree of service quality, be able to mitigate risk for our customers and company, be compliant with all regulations (Federal, Local, DOT, FMCSA), and complete daily tasks in accordance with department policy.
