Reports to: Director of Marketing

Summary: The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting various marketing activities across multiple departments.This position is responsible for organizing and executing marketing tasks based on the marketing calendar, assisting with marketing operations, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and will assist in managing the Director's calendar, leading communication with various departments to convey the Director’s feedback while updating the Director in a concise and timely manner.

Responsibilities: These responsibilities are intended to provide an overview of the Marketing Specialist role. This list is not inclusive – other duties may be assigned to support the growth of the business.

  • Marketing Support:
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns (per the marketing calendar) and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather necessary information and materials for marketing projects.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, email campaigns, photoshoot needs, social media posts, and website content.
  • Support the Director of Marketing by summarizing updates, feedback and communications to multiple departments, and stakeholders.
  • Project Management:
  • Assist in managing timelines and deadlines for marketing projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Organize and maintain marketing project files and documentation.
  • Track progress and report on the status of marketing projects to relevant stakeholders.
  • Marketing Operations:
  • Assist in managing projects, and details in Asana.
  • Keep projects amongst multiple marketing departments on track.
  • Daily interaction with Asana to communicate across multiple teams.
  • Communication:
  • Serve as a point of contact for marketing-related inquiries from other departments.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the marketing team, other departments, and the Director of Marketing.
  • Manage projects, assets, and updates in Asana.
  • Assist in managing the Director of Marketing’s calendar.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Assist in planning and executing company events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as venue booking, travel arrangements, and promotional material (as needed).
  • Assist in managing the event checklist.
  • Assist in managing the event assets such as booth creation, giveaways, stock photography, promotional materials, and setting up PR.
  • Research and Analysis:
  • Proactively conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze marketing data and generate insights to improve future marketing efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent organizational skills.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail and a passion for marketing.

Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Experience:

1 to 2 years of marketing experience, preferably within a manufacturing industry.

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
