We are looking for a General Ledger Staff Accountant to join the team! This is a long-term, 1 year contract position for an aerospace manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN. New grads are welcome to apply!
Description:
- Apply appropriate level of professional skepticism to all financial transactions.
- Accurately post General Ledger journal entries in accordance with reporting requirements.
- Accurately post daily cash transactions and prepare weekly cash reports.
- Prepare and/or review miscellaneous payments in online banking system.
- Perform regular balance sheet line item and bank reconciliations. Reconciliations should be completed as a key financial internal control as well as provide meaningful financial management information to finance business partners.
- Assist with Fixed Asset tasks.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, internal and external audit requests, and other ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting preferred; New grads will be considered.
- General Ledger Leader experience is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle, HFN, and Blackline for reconciliation is a plus.

- This is a long-term, 1 year contract position in Indianapolis, IN.
- Pay: $32-33/hour
- Local candidates only; no B2C or C2C.
