Malone Workforce Solutions is recruiting a versatile Roll Form Operator for a leading local engineering and manufacturing company specializing in global supply chain management and industrial storage solutions.
Providing excellent industrial metal storage shelves, platforms / mezzanines, and customized services in Paris, KY.
Roll Form Operator Benefits :
- $18.00 / hr pay
- 1st shift Monday Thursday (5am 3 : 30pm) w / OT on Fridays as needed
- Weekly Pay
- Temporary to hire positions
- Overtime available
- Benefits available
Roll Form Operator Duties :
- Set-up roll-form machines as specified by layout, diagram, work order or verbal instructions.
- Operate other manufacturing machinery as needed (e.g. brake press, rivet machine, and punch press).
- Perform minor maintenance on manufacturing machinery (e.g. replacing punches / buttons in die; replacing bolts, nuts, set screws, springs, etc.; and add fluids as needed).
- Perform TIG welding of steel coils.
- Perform visual quality inspections of parts and address issues / areas of improvement.
- Notify management of issues or concerns in a timely manner (e.g. machine malfunctions, inability to meet required schedule, safety concerns / hazards, etc.).
- Suggests improvements to promote quality, increase production, and safety.
- Follow safety rules, procedures and requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
Roll Form Operator Skill & Education Requirements :
- Must have proper PPE available (steel toe shoes required)
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be willing to submit and pass a drug screen
- Must be willing to submit and pass background
- Must wear safety equipment at all times
- Must always work in a safe manner
- Must follow all safety rules and company procedures
- A minimum of three years of experience with roll forms and other manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to work in a fast yet safe work environment.
- Ability to visually read prints, work orders, production schedules, tape measures and gauges, inspect machine, and parts.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Must have manual dexterity in both hands and the ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
