Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Manage project budgets and expenses, including cost estimation and tracking
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, negotiate contracts, write contracts and obtain needed permits
- Work directly with the Director of Construction to manage the projects
- Coordinating materials and scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Responsible for staying within the established budgets and timelines. This includes equipment, labor, materials, site preparation, subcontractor costs and other related costs. Create change orders for approval as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor
- 2 years of Commercial Construction experience
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprint
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Superior communication skills
