Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli products such as meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
- Operate deli equipment including slicers, scales, and ovens
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Follow food safety standards and procedures
- Assist in stocking and rotating deli products

Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks in the deli department

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with restaurant or food industry operations
- Experience with bussing tables or assisting in food preparation
