We are seeking a talented and motivated assistant packaging and graphic designer to join the Scotch & Soda and C&C California design teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Collaborate with design/director to develop packaging designs from initial concept to completion. This includes labels, hangtags, hardware, trims and various other packaging
• Stay up to date on design trends and brand appropriate market standards, integrating them into new design concepts
• Prepare and submit artwork for production and maintain existing library of branded packaging
• Review and comment on packaging submit and communicate with overseas and in-house team during production approval process
• Support on other graphic related projets such as lookbook layouts, show room signage instore marketing and other presentation needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in graphic design, or a related field, with at least 3 years experience in the fashion industry woking on packaging and graphic design
• Must be proficient on Macs, and with the following industry standard programs: Illustrator & Photoshop. InDesign experience is also a plus
• Candidate should have a strong eye for color, typography and layout along with technical knowledge of packaging production and materials
• Must be highly creative, organized and detail oriented, with the ability to problem solve and work on tight deadlines
• Abiltity to multitask, comunicate clearly ad work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
