Mammoth Hospital is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Mammoth Lakes, CA

The Construction Project Manager will lead and manage various construction projects from inception to completion in a healthcare setting. The incumbent will oversee multiple projects of various scopes and complexities through the planning, design, and construction phases, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards. The projects range from small-scale remodels/repairs to large scale renovations and new developments. The role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals, architects, engineers, contractors, and inspectors to achieve the project objectives while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare facility requirements, regulatory standards, and specialized construction practices. The incumbent works closely with the Facilities Manager and Chief Engineer on all projects.

What You'll Do:

  • As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading construction projects from beginning to end.
  • Manage various stakeholders, resources, and timelines to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget while meeting quality standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure projects are in full compliance with applicable building codes and local or state jurisdictions.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and coordination of all projects, develops drawings and specifications, requests and receives quotes for major work by outside contractors.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring adherence to timeline and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure alignment among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
  • Five years Construction Management experience required.
  • California Driver's License required.

Job Information:

  • Full-time, day shifts.
  • Starting wage $42.42 to $45.42 based on qualifications.
